Chef Wesley Boodhram knows a little something about Italian food—and not just because he married into an Italian family. As the Executive Chef for Regent Cruise Lines, he spent more than four years travelling throughout the Mediterranean and experiencing the culinary culture of the region firsthand. From the seafood markets of the Amalfi Coast to the bacari of Northern Italy, Chef Wesley witnessed what authentic Italian cuisine is all about, and he’s bringing that intimate knowledge to Caffè Italiano—not just in his exquisite menu, but in the dining experience, too. “We have a big focus on customer service and creating an intimate experience for every guest,” Chef Wesley says. “That’s what makes us different.” Authentic products like prosciutto and burrata are imported directly from Italy and combined with locally-sourced, high-quality ingredients. “Quality is key for us, in everything we do.” That attention to detail extends to the carefully curated wine list – which has everything from Barolo to Brunello to Amarone – ensuring that there’s a perfect pairing for every item on the menu, and the innovative cocktail menu takes Italian classics like Aperol Spritz to the next level.
